Hi Jules,
I am a veterinarian who does acupuncture on my patients.. and am expanding my healing arts repertoire from there. Western medicine is needed in certain instances, but I choose to offer something differents in my patients. Healing is an art.. its intuitive… energetic…I don’t even think- actually, I empty my head- it clears a space for the animals energy to fill…… sadness.. pain… happiness… whatever… and although I don’t claim to be an animal communicater… it connects me to to the animal rather than intellectualizing what I think should be… its more natural as are animals. Its funny - so many people, including veterinarians don’t get that. Many think I am a freak (which makes me laugh). Most recently, I am trying EFT, on myself first, and may apply to animals as well. I am a firm believer in that removing energetic obstructions, stagnation etc.. you restore health.. thats why reiki is so great..and environment….food.. are all a part of well being (of course they are)- same for animals.
Spiritually, these days reading alot of Tolle.. and also reading Esther and Jerry Hicks. learning to detach abit more… to be the observer watching it all from a slight distance. I am something of an oddity… especially here in Tennessee (here temporarily).
Raw/veganism… sounds lovely… I am not there yet, but I can see growing into it… doing a residency makes things hard… time wise… money wise… but I have alot to look forward too when its over.
Your goals sound wonderful. Thanks for reaching out. If you have a chance would love to know more about Gnostic wisdom, and your career goals.
